The name “Venesueca” has a fun, special meaning for me. I was born in Venezuela, and I’m also of Swedish descent… I’ve always been proud of and connected to both cultures so in high school a friend of mine dubbed me “Veneswedish.” Since the Spanish word for a Swedish girl is “sueca”, I twisted up the nickname a little bit and thus, Venesueca was born!
Over the years I have taken trips to many places besides Venezuela and Sweden, and along the way I have developed interests in a variety of different activities. Although I love making my living as a realtor, I also enjoy traveling, reading, acting, hiking, researching, meditating, listening to music, and above all, engaging with other people who are as passionate about what they think and do as I am. I’m finding now that for me, the thread that runs through all of these experiences is creative writing. I love to write about the cities I visit, the people I interact with, and so much more.
My hope is that this blog will be a useful and interesting resource for all my readers. Whether you want tips on what hotels to book in a foreign country, or need fresh ideas to inspire your daily life, or want recommendations you can trust on products and services, you’ll find the answers to many of those questions here.
